Turning seven was heaven....

...for this little girl.
She invited a whole bunch of girls this year, since last year so many of her friends were traveling and few came. Well that certainly wasn't the case this year. Everyone of them but one came....... and it got a LITTLE crazy. I won't go into the craziness but I will say that Ava appeared to be in seventh heaven through the whole thing. She was so sweet to her friends, making sure each one got some special attention from her, the super important birthday girl. And each one got a special hug and a big thank you when she opened their gift. Being a sweetheart comes naturally to Ava. I hope that never changes.
On to the pictures..... (these are for you Auntie Bev, I can always count on you to look at my blog:)
Ava in the middle of a whole bunch of energetic friends.
Here they are making their "pocket purses". Thank goodness I had a whole box of old jeans in the basement to use for this.

They each decorated a cupcake and then we put them all in front of Ava, stuck seven candles on them and this was her birthday cupcake-cake!

This little dude was supposed to wait until we sang to her to eat his cupcake..... nope. No waiting here.

Wearing her new hat and using her new little ice cream cone fan that Taylor (adam's bff) gave her.
Her cupcake-cake
Here's the girls (most of them) before the party ended showing off their cute little pocket purses they made.
They made them, decorated cupcakes and watched a movie. Who am I kidding, they didn't "watch" the movie, mostly they just ran around the house screaming and destroying things...... oh the wild energy of children.
Next time remind me to never have a three hour party again. :)
And Ava wanted some of them to stay longer........ lets just say it took HOURS to clean up, but it was worth it all, seeing her so happy.
