Oh what fun it is!

To make a mess.
Estelle is getting older and with that, comes new discovery. Her latest, being the discovery of mess making, and oh what fun it is. With each child, about the time they reach nine months of age, i've spent many hours picking up all the many things they GET OUT, (which only gets worse as they get older) . Estelle has discovered the fun in pulling everything out of the drawers and cupboards, which for me brings mixed emotions. It's more work, more bending, more up and down-ing and putting away, but i'm thrilled that she's starting to find ways to entertain herself. So today, i took some time to photograph all of her fun and exploring.
She goes into the Kitchen looking all pretty and harmless, right? Both shoes on, both socks, headband, everything.

Then she starts crawling around, opening things. Soon the headband falls off, and we're down to one sock, that's just barely on.

and she gets real excited about all these new things, that were previously hidden from her view.
Oh the fun that awaits.... what could be in there???

Well, lets see. And, if it's hard to pull open, well then just try to open it with your mouth. ???
And eventually EVERYTHING is pulled out and it's time to move on to the next cupboard/drawer.
Big Brother was looking insanely adorable today too, as usual, sporting this little red ski cap that i bought at the store for $1, that for some reason he likes more than any of the other super cool hats that he has.

And i love how his pants look when he puts his new boots on, all by himself.

He's such a happy, beautiful boy that is so full of energy and always, always laughing.
This picture just warms my heart. I wish it weren't blurry, but still.
These two just really dig each other, and having them in the house with me every day, well I really dig them too.
