Christmas 2009

We had a great Christmas this year, as usual, and this year we started a new tradition on Christmas Eve. We had our own little program. I wanted the kids to think about the true meaning of Christmas, not just Santa, so I had each of them do a part in the program that taught of Jesus and his birth. It turned out to be really nice and the kids were so excited about it and so adorable doing their parts.


Abbbie taught us what each letter in the word C H R I S T M A S means.


Ava read us a story about Joseph and Mary and that special birth.


Adam told us a story about Santa and Jesus and the things they have in common.


Aaron filmed it (with Gretel right in his face).

Estelle knew something special was going on.


Then Christmas morning.
Santa spoiled us....as well as all the Grandma's and Grandpa's.

One last picture. This was the Sunday before Christmas. The girls are wearing their Christmas dresses that Grandma Judy bought them. Of course, they looked beautiful. (And Adam isn't too hip on getting his picture taken, as usual).
