Tis the season...

for Gingerbread.
The girls and I decided to have a Gingerbread party with the cousins. So we told everyone to bring their own Gingerbread House and come on down. Estelle has been real sick with a very high fever for the last four days, at times as high as 104. The Dr. didn't know what was wrong with her and said it's probably a fever virus, shouldn't last more than five days. I didn't think we'd be able to have the party today, but when I told Ava that, I watched her heart break right in front of me. So it was on with the plan, as planned.
We started out with Christmas Bingo. I love Ava and Ellie's expressions in these pictures. They're just PRETENDING to be having so much fun. *wink*
For treats I made chex mix and these peanut butter truffles, ie; reindeer poop. They were a big hit.
The kids worked real intensely on their houses and they all turned out so cute.
Adam would decorate a little, then eat a little, then decorate....

My favorite thing about this picture, is Adam's little hand, so busily decorating.

Ava and Ellie worked on theirs for a very long time. Ellie was so cute. When she'd concentrate, she'd do that same thing with her mouth that her Mama does when she concentrates. :)

Here they are wearing their Christmas badges, Bingo prizes.

And with that, "PEACE", and Merry Christmas!
