Holiday Open House 2009
A perfect day.Me with *some* of the stuff.
First off I have to say how very grateful I am for those that support me, especially my Mom and every one of my sisters. All of my Sisters have been to all four of my Open Houses and Mom and Pop came up this year as well. THANK GOODNESS! Mom helped me SO much on Friday and Saturday with all the finishing touches that were so time consuming, I wouldn't have been able to keep my sanity without her being here. And Pops too! It was great having him here too.
Here's the inventory of what I sold this year. It may not be of any interest to some, but again, I record it for my information.
22 Skirts
9 Scripture Bags
16 Bibs
9 Burp Cloths
6 Boys' Monogramed Capes
4 Bags
19 Make-up bags (oh, how i love those little numbers)
2 Belts
and Both (2) of my Minky Baby Blankets.
Not too shabby. I also have to add how great it makes me feel to have a successful boutique/show. It makes me feel so accomplished knowing people love my stuff as much as I love making it. It's a good, warm feeling.
Here's some pictures from the day.
Me with more stuff in the other room.
All of us Larsen Ladies. We thought it was funny how we were all wearing either black or cream, totally unplanned. We think alike i guess.
Some of the food. We had; fudge, cheeseball, rice chex squares, peanut butter blossoms, cheesecake bites, banana bread, and other candy.
The Baby blankets.... they were so heavenly. A friend of mine bought my favorite, the grey one for herself. She doesn't have a baby, she just loved it so much, she bought it for herself. :) It was very hip, i must say with it's aviary applique's and it's silver minky with bold grey floral stripe and pointed corners. I made it to be very modern.
Us girls messing around.... i'm not sure what we were doing. I was just hoping no one would fall over into the tree. :)
Mom and Estelle. Estelle wasn't feeling too hot. She had a double ear infection, her first infection and it was a doosey. She was pretty good about it though.
Dad with Aunt Marilyn.... you can sure tell they're related, right?
Jody and Nezzy. You can ALSO tell these two are related! Aren't they beautiful?
I live in the best neighborhood with totally cool girls that are so supportive. I can't ever move.
Again, thanks so much to those that support me..... i feel so so blessed. It was a stressful month but very worth it. I am also sooo grateful for Aaron and the kids and all their patience and support while I spent hours upon hours in front of the sewing machine when i'm sure they were wishing i'd take a break.
Now!!!! I can't WAIT to start my Christmas shopping, and spend some quality time with the kids. Oh! AND rest, oooh it'll be nice to sit...and relax...and not stress.
Merry Christmas everyone!
